Norwood named one of the world’s coolest neighbourhoods

Norwood has been named one of the ‘38 Coolest Neighbourhoods in the World’ by Time Out magazine, and it’s the only South Australian neighbourhood to make the list.

Joining other Australian hotspots like Chippendale, Windsor, and Northbridge, Norwood was praised for its combination of “heritage and hip.”

Time Out Australia’s Travel and News Editor, Melissa Woodley, highlighted that Norwood perfectly blends these two elements, making it a must-visit destination. A stroll along its iconic main street, The Parade, is an experience not to be missed.

Mayor Robert Bria celebrated the accolade as a "feather in the cap" for Norwood and the City, stating, “It’s fantastic to see Norwood receiving the international recognition it truly deserves.”
