Temporary Traffic Control Device Notice - Ninth Avenue Christmas Lights

To help support the community-led Ninth Avenue Christmas Lights, Council has supported the following TTCDN.

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 33 ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1961
I, Christopher Drew Holland, Senior Sergeant First Class of Police, for, and on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, exercise the authority delegated by the Minister for Transport under Section 11 Road Traffic Act, and make the following order under Section 33 of the Act.

I declare that ‘Ninth Avenue (St Peters) Christmas Lights to take place between 6.30pm and 11.30pm nightly between Friday 13 December 2024 and Friday 27 December 2024 in the St Peters area is an event to which this section applies.

Within the City of Norwood, Payneham and St Peters Council area:

  • Ninth Avenue, St Peters / Joslin / Royston Park between a point approximately 50 metres south west of Stephen Terrace Battams Road
  • Battams Road, Royston Park between Ninth Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres east
  • Bide Street, Royston Park between Ninth Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres west
  • Hocking Avenue, Royston Park between Ninth Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres east
  • Hocking Avenue, Royston Park between a point approximately 25 metres west of Ninth Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres east
  • Lambert Avenue, Royston Park between a point approximately 25 metres west of Ninth Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres east
  • Werrina Avenue, Joslin between Ninth Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres east
  • Koolaman Street, Joslin between Ninth Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres west
  • Winchester Street, St Peters between a point approximately 25 metres west of Ninth Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres east and
  • Stephen Terrace, St Peters between Tenth Avenue and Eight Avenue.

I hereby authorise ALTUS Traffic or its agents and contractors to install and remove, or cause the installation and removal of necessary and appropriate traffic control devices for the conduct of the speed zones.
