Celebrating the Dedication of Our Elected Members

Elected Members play a vital role in shaping our community. They provide leadership, guide policy decisions and act as a crucial link between the community and Council.

Their responsibilities go far beyond meetings and formalities—they identify community needs, set strategic goals, prioritize initiatives and allocate resources to ensure the wellbeing and growth of our City.

On Monday 28 April, we proudly celebrated four outstanding Elected Members for their longstanding service and unwavering commitment to our community.

Mayor Robert Bria presented Years of Service Awards to:

  • Cr Christel Mex – 10 years of service,
  • Cr Scott Sims – 10 years of service,
  • Cr Sue Whitington – 25 years of service,
  • Cr Connie Granozio – 25 years of service.

These milestones reflect not only individual dedication but also a deep passion for community service and progress.

We extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to each of these remarkable leaders.

Their contributions continue to make Norwood Payneham & St Peters a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking place to live and work.
