Have your Say! Draft Volunteer Strategy 2025–2028

Do you volunteer in our beautiful City? Or are you interested in getting involved?

The Council are inviting community feedback on its draft Volunteer Strategy 2025–2028.

Each year, more than 222 volunteers contribute 10,028 hours of service across a wide range of programs — from libraries and events to community care, environmental conservation and more.

This incredible contribution, valued at over $467,000, makes a real difference to the lives of people across our City.

The draft Strategy sets the direction for how Council will recognise, support and grow volunteering over the next three years. It focuses on:

• Celebrating and valuing the contribution of our volunteers.
• Creating meaningful opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
• Partnering with the community to deliver programs that meet local needs.
