Norwood Swimming Centre reopens Saturday 11 October

The Norwood Swimming Centre is the perfect spot to relax, exercise and have fun with family and friends.

With its shady gum trees and welcoming backyard feel, it’s the ideal place to cool down, swim some laps, or simply relax by the pool.

The Centre opens to the public from Saturday 11 October and operates seven days a week during the swim season (closed only on Christmas Day and Good Friday).

Location: 32 Phillips Street, Kensington — just off The Parade and close to public transport.

Facilities include:

• shaded toddler pool
• 50-metre main pool
• inflatable obstacle course (every Sunday, 12.30pm–3.30pm, December to end of February)
• change rooms
• shower and bathroom facilities
• BBQ's.

Children’s swimming lessons are available — enrol online or chat to our friendly staff at the Centre.

Please note: Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre is currently closed while it undergoes a major upgrade with construction expected to be completed in the first half of 2026. Read more here
