Time to plan for the Norwood Christmas Pageant!

Get ready to celebrate the magic of Christmas as the Norwood Christmas Pageant ignites the festive spirit on Saturday 22 November.
The Parade, Norwood will come alive with colourful floats, music and entertainment, including live bands, clowns, dancers, fairies and more.
It’s a joyful community tradition that brings together families, schools and community groups in one of Adelaide’s most loved festive celebrations.
Crowds are expected to line The Parade from early in the morning, so bring your Christmas cheer and some chalk!
Kids are encouraged to decorate the street with festive drawings before the Pageant begins.
The Pageant will start at Woods Street, Norwood and travels east along The Parade to Queen Street.
Tips for the Day
- Come early for breakfast at one of the many cafés along The Parade, then stay for lunch after the Pageant to keep the festive fun going.
- Stay behind the blue line marked on The Parade.
- Before you leave home, write your mobile number on your child’s wrist or arm and take a photo of them to help in case you get separated.
- Remember to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide.
- If rain is forecast, bring your umbrellas, hooded jackets and gumboots.
- George Street, Norwood, north of The Parade, is currently undergoing an upgrade with changes to traffic access and movement currently in place. Traffic cannot access George Street from the south or from The Parade. Please check the Council’s website for more information: George Street Upgrade
- Consider using public transport, as parking will be limited.
