Come and Try Dance for Fitness

13/03/2026

Staying active is one of the most important ways to support your health and well-being as you age and can be an ideal source of social interaction.

Our popular Dance for Fitness classes return in 2026, offering a fun, low-impact way to improve strength, balance and overall fitness in a welcoming and social environment.

Combining Latin and international music with easy-to-follow dance movements, these classes blend styles such as salsa, reggaeton, cumbia and hip hop into a lively cardio session.

Rather than feeling like a traditional workout, each class feels more like a dance party, helping you stay motivated while improving mobility, coordination and energy levels.

Regular movement supports heart health, flexibility and independence, making it easier to continue doing the things you love.

Beyond the physical benefits, our annual Come & Try program is also a wonderful way to connect with others.

Some participants attend with a friend or use the classes as an opportunity to meet new people, share a laugh and enjoy a new activity.

Entering its fourth year, the program continues to grow in popularity, with participants returning each term for the positive atmosphere and supportive community.
