Have your say on ageing well in our community

02/10/2026

We are seeking community feedback to help shape how Council supports older people to age well in our community.

The Council currently provides a range of services and programs for older residents, but we want to better understand where Council can make the greatest difference and how we can best respond to the needs of our ageing community.

Ageing well is about more than access to services. It is about having opportunities to stay healthy and active, maintain independence, participate in social and community life, and feel safe, valued and supported.

Your feedback will help the Council understand what matters most to our community and where there may be opportunities to strengthen the support available to older residents.

Everyone has a shared interest in how our community supports people to age well, so we are encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to have their say.

There are two ways to provide feedback:

Complete the Community Aged Care Services Survey

Share your thoughts through the online survey or download a printable version and return your completed form to Norwood Town Hall or any of Council’s three libraries.

Attend a community workshop

A community workshop will provide an opportunity to explore the services and programs that support older people to age well and share your ideas directly with Council.
